Data We Collect

LushThailand.com collects anonymous usage data through Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including page views, click events, and general browsing patterns. We do not collect personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it.

Affiliate Tracking

When you click an affiliate link on our site, you are redirected through our server-side endpoint (/go/{category}/{offerId}). We log the click event (timestamp, offer ID, and category) to measure the effectiveness of our recommendations. No personal data is included in these logs.

Cookies and Storage

• Consent cookie (lushthailand_consent): Stores your cookie consent preference (accepted or declined). This is an essential cookie.
• Session storage: The packing checklist tool stores your checked items in browser session storage. This data is cleared when you close your browser tab and is never sent to our servers.
• Analytics cookies: If you accept cookies, Google Tag Manager and GA4 may set cookies to track anonymous usage patterns.

Third-Party Services

• Google Tag Manager (GTM): Loaded only after you accept cookies. Manages analytics tags.
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Configured within GTM to collect anonymous usage data.
• Affiliate partners: When you click affiliate links, you are redirected to third-party sites (Agoda, Booking.com, Hostelworld, Klook, GetYourGuide, 12Go Asia). These sites have their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

You can decline cookies at any time using the cookie consent banner. Declining cookies prevents analytics tracking while preserving full site functionality. You can clear session storage by closing your browser tab.
